How ad revenue is calculated

Revenue = daily impressions ÷ 1,000 × eCPM × days

Choose 1–365 days with constant daily assumptions. Scenario changes combine multiplicatively; enter 0 to keep an assumption unchanged or a negative percentage for a decline. Calculations run in your browser. Input values are not stored or sent to analytics. Results are illustrative, not forecasts or payout estimates.

eCPM is earnings per thousand impressions. Use impressions of ads actually shown, not ad requests, page views or active users. For multiple segments, calculate each separately and add the earnings in the same currency; do not take a simple average of their eCPMs.

Example: 10,000 daily impressions at USD 2.50 eCPM give USD 25 per day, or USD 750 over 30 days. With 20% more impressions and 10% higher eCPM, the scenario becomes USD 990, a 32% change. These figures illustrate the formula and are not industry benchmarks.

Before using the result

What eCPM should I enter?

Use an observed eCPM from a matching app, country, format and report period, or your own explicit assumption. This tool does not supply market averages.

Does currency selection convert my earnings?

No. It labels the input eCPM and output amounts. Enter eCPM in that currency; changing USD to EUR does not apply an exchange rate.

Can I add Network and Mediation earnings?

Keep them separate because they can overlap. Use a single report scope for your assumptions and do not count the same impressions or earnings twice.

Will this estimate match a payment?

It does not model payment schedules, adjustments, taxes or costs. Use finalized provider reports for payment reconciliation. It is not a profit calculation.
