Revenue with its reporting context
Explore Google Play report revenue alongside the subscription trends it helps explain.

Revenue is most useful when the report behind it is clear. This archive edition focuses on the Google Play financial reporting and charts that were already part of AppCradle.

Bring financial reports into the workspace
Google Play imports include financial report data, giving revenue its own place alongside subscriber statistics. The importer reads the report’s amounts and currency information and handles refund signs, rather than treating every record as a new positive sale.
That distinction matters when a period contains both purchases and refunds. A gross purchase count and a revenue total describe different things, even when they refer to the same app.
Inspect the trend, then the detail
Revenue and subscriber charts provide complementary views. Use the time series to find a period worth investigating, then look at the imported report details for context.
Reading the numbers
Check the reporting period, currency and available coverage before comparing AppCradle with the store console. Sales, proceeds and payout timing are not interchangeable. The charts reflect the imported reports, and should not be read as a promise of a bank payout on a particular date.
